The winemaking tradition of the Russo family began in 1860 and has been handed down from father to son. 
At almost 700 metres above sea level, the estate offers panoramic views of Mount Etna, the Alcantara Valley, the Nebrodi Mountains and the ancient town of Castiglione di Sicilia.
During the tour through the vineyards, you can admire the unspoilt beauty and listen to the sound of nature and perhaps even hear the roar of Mount Etna. You will also be briefly explained the wine history of Cantine Russo, the local cultivation and the peculiarities of producing wine grown on volcanic soil. 

You can choose between two memorable sensory journeys:
-Aperitif: 4 wines for tasting, Madrenatura Etna rosso DOP Year 2016 WITHOUT SULPHITES; Rampante Etna bianco DOP Year 2017 ; Rampante Etna rosè DOP Year 2017; Rampante Etna rosso DOP Year 2012, combined with a mixture of different types of traditional local appetizers;

-Mama Felicia's Lunch: Tasting of 4 wines: Contrada Crasà Rosso Year 2014; Rampante Etna bianco DOP Year 2018; Rampante Etna rosè DOP Year 2017; Rampante Etna rosso DOP Year 2012, accompanied by a mixed local starter, handmade meatball in lemon leaves, Aeolian tomato salad, seasonal fruit and handmade desserts
