Taste Summer in Botticino: Wine Tasting at Noventa

With this experience, you will discover the peculiarities of the territory of Botticino, where the renowned marble of Botticino frames a scenery of gentle hills from which unique and typical wines are born. Botticino DOC is a unique blend of Barbera, Sangiovese, Marzemino and Schiava Gentile grapes.

Upon your arrival at Noventa Botticino, you will receive a warm welcome. The experience will start with a visit to the estate’s winery and vineyards. The vineyards of Botticino enjoy a gentle Mediterranean microclimate, as their valley is protected by the Prealps. The altitude of the vineyards (380m asl),  combined with their favorable sun exposure and the clayey-calcareous nature of their soil, create an ideal environment for the production of high-quality red wines.

After the visit, if the weather allows it, your tasting will take place directly in the vineyard. The knowledgeable team of Noventa will explain to you the characteristics of their wines, strongly linked to the differences in soil present in the territory of Botticino. The guided tasting will include 3 wines, starting from the rosé L'Aura, a wine that allows you to taste the uniqueness of its territory, with a dry, sapid and mineral taste. You will continue with the tasting of two red wines, Botticino DOC Pià de la Tesa and Gobbio, both of which were awarded prestigious prizes by the Italian Sommelier Association and Gambero Rosso for several years. The tasting will be accompanied by a selection of typical cold cuts and cheeses produced in the valleys of Brescia.

On request, it is possible to book a junior tasting for kids with fruit juices and coloring pages, kindly offered by the winery. Please inform the winery in advance should you have any allergies or food intolerances.
