Esperienza Perfetta

8/1/21
Siamo stati molto bene. Degustazione e pranzo perfetti. Visita alla cantina e ai vigneti con spiegazione dettagliata. Inoltre eravamo soli e questo è un vantaggio rispetto a visite in grandi aziende con gruppi più numerosi.

About Winery and Wines

The Bellaria Estate is located in one of the most suitable and characteristic areas of Montalcino and was born at the beginning of the 1960s and more precisely on September 23rd 1963, with the purchase by Assunto Pieri and Bruna Tempori of the farmhouse and the land. Bruna and “Sunto”, as appealed to by all the people of Montalcino, they have expanded and developed the company's potential, deciding to produce a wine that had as its peculiarity: respect for the zoning and the qualitative characteristics deriving from it. Starting from the year 2000, the management of the company passed into the hands of his nephew Gianni Bernazzi , who although intent on personalizing and modernizing the production philosophy, also has one of the first fundamental foundations, respect for a ten-year tradition that is certainly basic in order to produce quality wine.

The company consists of about 40 hectares, part of which is destined for vineyards, from which Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Riserva is made (only in five-star years) the Rosso di Montalcino DOC, and in the coming years an IGT and a Vin Santo DOC and a Sant 'Antimo Rosso: all the wines produced fully express the vocation of the terroir and the productive tradition of Gianni Bernazzi. The remaining part of the land is destined for the cultivation of the olive tree, from where an excellent oil comes from the bland of the different varieties of cultivated olive trees (Olivastra, Correggiolo, Frantoio and Leccino) and bottled as Extra Virgin Olive Oil, also completes the list of productions, the Brunello Grappa obtained with the pomace produced by post-vinification.
