Barbaresco Wine Tasting at Cascina Alberta in the heart of Langhe

Here is what's in store for you

Enjoy a complete Langhe wine experience at Cascina Alberta, located in the small village of Treiso, just 6 kilometers from Alba.

With this experience, you will have the opportunity to walk through our rows of vineyards adjacent to the cellar. During the walk, we will talk about viticulture, organic sustainability, and our land and soil composition. Then you will visit our wine cellar to understand how our wine is produced, our production philosophy, and the magical world of fermentations.

Before tasting, we'll make a last stop in our aging cellar where you can admire our barrels and amphorae where our Cascina Alberta wines age and refine.

Finally, you'll enjoy a guided tasting of five of our wines. Usually, the wines offered in the tasting are Langhe Bianco, Langhe Nebbiolo, Barbera D'Alba, Barbera D'Alba Superiore, Barbaresco Giacone, or Barbaresco Serragrilli. The wines will be accompanied by some Langhe hazelnuts.

To elevate your wine experience, you can choose to pair the wines with a delightful board of cheeses selected by Borgo Affinatori, or with a typical Langhe light lunch including a starter, a main, and a dessert/cheese board. Examples of dishes you'll enjoy include Carne Cruda (knife-beaten beef tartare), Vitello Tonnato (veal in tuna sauce), Plin agnolotti with meat or vegetarian filling, or Fassona beef shank cooked in Nebbiolo wine.
