Brewer for a day: tour and beer tasting at Birrificio Sorrento

Here is what you will live

After being welcomed by the staff of Birrificio Sorrento, you will start your 360° degrees tour of the brewery, consisting of a sensory experience that starts from the raw materials up to the tasting. 

As the first thing, you will be shown the hops, citrus fruits, and all the raw materials of the territory that Birrificio Sorrento uses in their production of their craft beers. Your visit will proceed in the mashing room, where they produce the wort that will become beer. Then you will pass through the cellar, where the wort becomes young beer, and then through the refermentation room, which is where the beer matures and refines before it can be poured into glasses.

The knowledgeable staff of Birrificio Sorrento will also show you and explain the equipment used in their Microbiology lab, where their quality control and yeast research studies take place.

This 360° craft beer experience will end with a guided tasting of 4 beers. The beers will be accompanied by a rich platter of cold cuts and cheeses produced in the Sorrento Peninsula, with products like mozzarella di fior di latte, provolone del monaco, salami, pancetta and delicious bread.
