The San Fabiano Calcinaia Winery awaits you at the heart of Chianti Classico for this wine tasting.

This exclusive tour begins with a guided tour of the winery, introduced by historical notes on the medieval structure of San Fabiano, and then continues with an explanation of the organic winemaking process, from field to bottle, including a visit to the impressive aging barrique cellar.

The tour will be followed by a tasting of 3 San Fabiano Calcinaia organic wines (1 Chianti Classico, 1 IGT red, and 1 IGT white), including the typical Chianti Classico​​​​​​, with an explanation of its organoleptic properties and link to the territory.

Beautiful drive out in the country to this charming winery. Lucia was a wonderful and informative host. We enjoyed 3 wines which were nice, the Cabernet Sauvignon being the best.
