Bodegas Silvano García wurde 1925 gegründet und ist ein familiengeführtes Weingut, das sich ständig weiterentwickelt hat, um den Anforderungen des Marktes gerecht zu werden, ohne dabei die Qualität aus den Augen zu verlieren. Das Weingut kontrolliert den gesamten Weinherstellungsprozess vom Weinberg bis zur Flasche mit großer Sorgfalt. Dazu gehören die Überwachung des Reifezyklus der Trauben, die Unterscheidung der Rebsorten und die Wahl des optimalen Erntezeitpunkts. Dieses Engagement stellt sicher, dass jeder Wein die höchsten Standards an Handwerkskunst und Qualität widerspiegelt.

In 1950, Ramón Castaño Santa, son and grandson of viticulturers, had already built up his own winery and was, by the time, broadening the family vineyards. In 1975, came the acquisition of the first plots in Las Gruesas, the estate that would eventually become relevant to Bodegas Castaño for its size and quality. A few years later, in the early 80s Ramón Castaño Santa purchased the first bottling unit and with it, the real improvement and development started to take place, always bearing in mind quality as the main leitmotiv. At the beginning of the 90s, his three sons, Ramón, Juan Pedro and Daniel were fully incorporated to the family business. It was then when the international expansion began to be a reality. The presence of Bodegas Castaño in the main trade fairs around the world, commercial survey trips and international tasting events became a constant feature. Then the first national and international recognitions and awards arrived. This expansion to different markets provoked the necessity of advanced technological developments within the premises so as to reach higher quality rates and favour the competitiveness of Bodegas Castaño. In 2002 a new air conditioned storing warehouse of 3000 sqm in two floors was built. It included a storing room for bottle ageing with capacity for 500.000 units and cooling room for the pre- fermentative maceration of grapes at harvest time.

Since 1946, Bodegas La Purísima has selected and transformed the fruit of the best vines in order to create the GREAT WINES OF YECLA. A commitment to quality, innovation and tradition in wine-making, recognised by way of numerous international awards and the trust of thousands of customers around the world. Bodegas La Purísima was founded in 1946 by several farmers who joined forces in order to improve the quality of Yecla wines. Their determination and desire to produce great wines finally led, in 1975, to their receiving the Denomination Origin title. This was a huge achievement for these farmers who, limited by the border of the municipality, registered the Yecla Denomination of Origin nº 27 in line with the prestigious French AOC. At the beginning of the 1990s the wine cellar produced one of its best wines, the Iglesia Vieja Crianza, a wine which opened the door to other great wines. Iglesia Vieja Crianza was one of the first wines of the region to be included in the wine lists of leading restaurateurs in Murcia.

Casa Boquera is a small family winery and hotel located at the beginning of the “El Serral” valley in Yecla (Murcia), in a beautiful, unspoiled natural enclave at the foot of two mediterranean mountain ranges; "El Carche" and "Serral". The area, known as 'La Boquera', with its calm surroundings, charming, mountainous skylines and stunning views is home to our 100% organic vineyards, excellent, certified organic wines and boutique hotel-winery built in 2016 by a Norwegian couple with a deep passion for winemaking and wines. The area is characterized by its sandy and calcareous soils and special microclimate, which makes it very suitable for growing and obtaining wines with a very unique character. The red varieties that our farm have are: Monastrell (Mourvedre/Mataró), a native and protected designation of origin (DOP) variety of the area and the great protagonist of our wines. Petit Verdot, Syrah and Garnacha Tintorera (Grenache). Our winery, built in the spring of 2016, is small but equipped with the most respectful technology towards wine and adapted to the winemaking tradition of the area. It is built under the premise of always taking care of the wine above anything else. Our boutique-hotel, Casa Boquera, is situated in the middle of our vineyards and winery. The complex surrounds a private garden with swimming pool and beautiful views over the vineyard and valley. With only 11 rooms, we can offer a personal and peaceful retreat where you can enjoy in addition to our wines, the magical environment and the silence that surrounds us: an experience of disconnection and total relaxation. An oasis of peace in the middle of the countryside!
