Casale Mattia is a family-run organic farm since 1996. It rises on the homonymous hill at 200 meters above sea level south of Rome in an area which has always been devoted to the production of Frascati wine. In this land rich in volcanic residues in the heart of the Frascati DOC area the winery is located. Vineyards alternate with olive groves and fields making up a good model of biodiversity. Soil is of volcanic origin, the most common vine is Malvasia di Candia. The attention for the territory and the commitment for the sustainability of the same are concretized in the production of typical wines of the area. Our search for quality starts from the control of the whole production process and it is the combination of respect for tradition and technology. With our enologist we check all the steps of the production, from the harvest to the vinification of still white wines, red wines made with the traditional method and sparkling white and rosé wines made with the charmat method. The winery is equipped with modern facilities for the processing of grapes, storage and bottling of our wines. Believing in our work, in the potential of our company, in the product we want to offer to the consumer are our philosophy and our daily commitment, our strength that has allowed us over the years to grow and improve.

Our company wanted to add to the historical production of Frascati in all its types (Frascati doc, Frascati docg, Frascati Cannellino, Frascati Spumante) also other types of product Cesanese, Shiraz, Merlot, Misa igt lazio bianco from sauvignon and malvasia grapes, doc Roma rosso, doc Roma bianco. Always with a particular attention to the territory and to the quality of the product.
