Über das Weingut und die Weine
Located in Ribatejo, in Riachos, in the Tejo Demarcated Region, Quinta S. João Batista's history has been lost among noble successions, donations to religious orders and many other events. It was acquired in 1987 by Caves Dom Teodósio (a company that would later become part of the Enoport United Wines Group). The centuries-old history of Quinta São João Batista, which covers around 145 hectares, is well represented in the colonial-style manor house and also includes the architectural complex with cellars for ageing wine and a traditional winemaking cellar.
The wines from Quinta de São João Batista are good ambassadors for this terroir and this region of the Tagus.
