Stopped on our way from Maryland to the Smokey Mountains for lunch. Great set of about 8 wines for tasting (could choose from sweet or dry) for $4.50. We then had a delicious lunch with a glass of our favorites. The menu had more than we expected, all very reasonable. Cute little store as well.

What a wonderful step back in time for a fast paced Northerner![Ohio] Five of us spent the afternoon and morning with the awesome folks at Rural Retreat Winery. The wine tasting is so fun and the owners are quite knowledgeable. We learned about all the types of grapes they grow to create their heavenly nectars. They have an apartment over the deli/sales floor for a very reasonable price that is spacious enough for a large family or up to three couples. Facilities are very clean and well kept and the service from the staff is A++. What an exquisite experience that none of us will soon forget. Thanks for the memories and we WILL see you soon!
