Here is what's in store for you
Scotland has many distilleries and their number is increasing all the time. The Isle of Skye now has two distilleries Talisker and Torabhaig. If you include Raasay distillery you have 3 distilleries within a 50 mile radius of each other. There is also Harris distillery in the Outer Hebrides and on the mainland distilleries such as GlenWyvis, Ben Nevis and Glen Ord. With this tour, our goal is to offer a special day experience on the Islands of Skye and Raasay in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland.
Hugh will be your guide: he has 7 years experience in working for one of the highest profile Scottish distilleries. His
knowledge on whisky and distillation is consequently huge. He will pick you up at your accomodation on the Skye and Lochalsh region and from there you are transported in a luxury 8-seater minibus!
Our tour will include the visits of the following activities:
- The world-renowned Talisker distillery tour and tasting
- The Raasay distillery, on one of Skye’ small neighbour islands visit and tasting
Visiting distilleries in the Hebrides of Scotland is not only a wonderful opportunity to learn about whisky making, it is also a way of being breath taken by amazing landscapes and natural beauty.
