Visit to Cantina Assirelli
We were gifted this tasting with a visit to the Assirelli Winery in the Imola hills, above Dozza. We were immediately welcomed warmly and accompanied on a tour of the vineyards and the cellar with great professionalism and engagement. The love for this Winery shines through in the Sommelier who was our guide. We then concluded with a tasting of 7 different types of wine accompanied by cold cuts, cheeses and piadina. Everything was excellent!!!! It was a fantastic visit!!!
Assirelli Tasting
A beautiful experience, conducted with great professionalism and kindness. Interesting in its content (in the vineyard, in the cellar) and the tasting next to the fireplace was very satisfying. Interesting wines and an excellent snack. We'll have to go back.
Wonderful experience
We had a beautiful afternoon and even though we were the only ones not speaking Italian, Sante took very good care of us and made sure to answer all of our questions. Very nice and familiar atmosphere. The food and the wine was fantastic.
Wine tasting at its finest
A great experience with very lovely people in the beautiful hills of Romagna! You shouldn't eat or drink beforehand, because there is more than plenty of it in super quality and with exciting explanations from people who love their job!
A wonderful place
The winery is a place of passion and care nestled in the Emiliano-Romagnole hills and the tasting was abundant, tasty and very interesting. The fruit of the labor of capable people, of long experience and passionate about their work.
Amazing
We share an incredible moment with the sommelier Sante. He made a tour of the different wine yard with a lot of explanations about it + tour in the the beautiful cave. The landscape is very beautiful. Then our table was full of cheese and ham from the region, very generous in quantity. We taste 8 wines with Sante that explained everything, respond to your question with kind and generous smile. He is very professional, here for you at any time. At the end you have the possibility to buy the bottle. We take 8 bottles in total. We are use to French wine, but this is something else. You reconsider to eat cheese or meat/ham with a completely different type of wine after this degustation. It was amazing. Thank you very much and also thank you for the ride.
Do not miss this experience!
Can’t recommend this enough. Santi was the best host, incredibly friendly and knowledgeable… he even dropped us off at Imola station after the event, which he didn’t need to do! As for the tasting, we had 9 glasses of cracking wine and a huge amount of delicious food. This would be a great thing to do even if the location was bad… but the location was beautiful! Make sure you book onto this tasting.
Interesting tour and excellent products
Very interesting tour in the vineyards and in the cellar, excellent wines accompanied by local cheeses, cured meats and piada. We learned new things about wine and we really appreciated the products, recommended!

Extremely interesting and positive experience, the explanation in all its parts is very accurate and easy to follow, you can see it's done with passion, it's not the usual spiel, but rather dynamic and interactive. The winery is very well-kept, you can see there is passion and dedication and the results are all there, the wine is very good, I'm not a super connoisseur but the quality is all there and you can taste it, as is the food that accompanies the tasting, truly very good, all of it always accompanied by a person who really knows how to make you understand what you are experiencing, without ever being intrusive. It was an impeccable experience! A visit to the vineyards, interesting explanations, an abundant and very high-quality tasting (local cured meats and cheeses, delicious winery wines). To do again, to recommend, to give as a gift!!!! Excellent!
Like Superquark but better
After a tour of the vineyard and cellar, rich with explanations and interesting historical facts, we tasted the white, red, and sparkling wines. The food pairings were spot-on and top quality. The wines are complex and multifaceted, perfectly representing the owners and the sommelier who accompanied us. A splendid person, full of passion and with a complete knowledge of the territory, the product, and the history of the place.

Splendid place, exquisite wines, abundant food. All in front of the fireplace. The sommelier who attended to us was knowledgeable, friendly and kind. To be repeated, maybe in the summer, to take advantage of the picnics they organize directly in the vineyards.
Exceptional experience!
The afternoon at the Assirelli winery was interesting and very satisfying. The sommelier's explanations about the vineyards and the wine production in the barrels - all very precise and accurate! - were a prelude to the tasting: tasting their oils, wines, cured meats, cheeses, bread and piadina, even some panettone, the atmosphere at the table immediately became cheerful and convivial. Warning: don't expect to feel like having dinner a couple of hours later: Assirelli offers you very abundant portions! Highly recommended!
Honeymoon delight
My husband and I had a spectacular trip to Assirelli vineyard and cantina! We did a tour of the vineyard + a wine tasting by the fireplace. During our trip to Italy, we did over 7 wine tastings and this was BY FAR the most special. Sante, the house sommelier, was so kind and knew so much about their unique grapes, He was so sweet with a great sense of humor. But what made it truly memorable was the level of attention we got from the entire staff. They brought us special cheese and bread parings with each wine, and even cooked us local panchetta and sausage by the fire!!! You could really feel the family touch all around. 10/10 reccomend this tour - it was DIVINE! Thanks again Assirelli family!!!

A beautiful experience, The owner welcomed us, explaining in detail all the procedures for their excellent wines... in the end the tasting was accompanied by niche cured meats and cheeses... Compliments on everything, really. I really recommend a visit to the Assirelli winery... It's worth it.
