Here is what's in store for you
Upon your arrival at the Monte del Frà winery, Silvia, Carol and Fabio will welcome you. A great day among the Custoza hills is waiting for you!
We begin riding towards the small village of Custoza. Fabio will entertain you with the story of the italian Risorgimento battles fought here
A few kilometers away, you will come to a hill where the Ossario di Custoza stands, the famous memorial monument with a breathtaking view. Don’t forget to take a selfie there! A few meters away, you will find the historic vineyards of Bagolina and Monte Godio that will give you a complete view into the amphitheater of the gentle morainic hills. A ride along this path between vineyards and cypress trees will give you a full understanding of the true essence of these places that are dedicated to the culture and art of making wine.
Along secondary roads you will reach Borghetto sul Mincio classified among the ten most beautiful bourges in Italy) nestled along the Mincio River. It is here that time seems to have stopped in the Middle Ages. The water mills are still active, the bourg unravels between tiny houses overlooking the Mincio River, the small bars are still operated by the locals. Walk and breathe the magic of this place, accompanied by the sweet sound of the flowing river. You will meet the locals and enjoy the day. Capture the essence of this experience with a photo to remember these moments.
Once you are back on your E-Bike, return to the place called Oliosi to experience a gastronomic experience in the vineyard. There, a delicious homemade picnic awaits you under the pergolas of the Colombara Vineyard. The products offered are those of the territory: bread, meats, cheeses and local fruit depending on the season.
Relax and revitalize your energy because the experience is halfway! Once back on your E-Bike, you will return to the starting point: the Monte del Frà winery.
At around 16:00pm, Carol and Silvia will be waiting for you again for a short tour thorugh the wine cellar rooms. You will discover the secrets of winemaking in the places where the most internationally known wines age: Amarone della Valpolicella and Custoza Superiore Cà del Magro. At the end of the tour there will be a tasting of the wines we produce. The winery supports the environment through a sustainable agriculture. The following wines: Custoza DOC, Lugana DOC, Chiaretto di Bardolino DOC and Valpolicella Superiore Classico DOC are introduced by the fly tasting method. A cheese platter and bread will be paired with this wine tasting.
If it is possible to join us with your own bicycle, you will have a €10 discount on this incredible experience.

Reviews of this Winery
Grazie
Avanti così
