History & Philosophy
Bodegas Galmés i Ferrer traces its roots to a longstanding Mallorcan winemaking tradition. Although we do not own our own vineyards, all of our grapes are carefully sourced from local, trusted growers across the island. This approach ensures that every bottle captures the genuine spirit of Mallorca while supporting the region’s agricultural heritage.

Our philosophy is built on respect for the land, sustainability, and a passion for quality. We combine traditional know-how with modern techniques to craft wines that embody the authentic flavors of the Mediterranean climate and the island’s unique terroir.

Location & Environment
Located in Petra—an area renowned for its sunny weather and mineral-rich soils—our winery is ideally situated to benefit from Mallorca’s unique geology and microclimates. By partnering with experienced local growers, we have access to top-quality grapes cultivated under optimal conditions, which is vital for the signature character and depth of our wines.

Each of our wines is a result of meticulous selection and dedicated craftsmanship. We source native and international grape varieties—such as Callet, Manto Negro, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon—from select vineyards across Mallorca.

Red Wines: These wines reflect the warmth of the Mediterranean sun, featuring rich fruity notes and well-integrated tannins. Some varieties undergo barrel aging to develop complexity and a smooth finish.

White & Rosé Wines: Fresh and vibrant, these wines often highlight floral and citrus aromas, balanced by crisp acidity—perfect for pairing with the island’s cuisine.

Limited Editions: From time to time, we release special cuvées that showcase either a distinctive vineyard lot or an innovative blend, demonstrating our commitment to explore the island’s diverse oenological potential.
