Great afternoon

The staff were friendly and very accommodating.
We had heavy rain on arrival so we had the tasting inside and moved out into the sun when the rain cleared.
Beautiful location and fabulous sparkling wine selection.
Lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
It was difficult to understand where to park and hard to turn around in the small drive way.

Interesting wine proposal. Good food tasting with the wine selection.
Unfortunately, probably due to the raining and bad weather, we didn't visit the place, especially the cantina.
The expert that guide us during the tasting was very nice and kind.

Degustazione tra i vigneti

Posto molto bello, la ragazza che ci ha fatto visitare la tenuta e spiegato il vini che andavamo a degustare e stata molto chiara e interessante anche e soprattutto nella spiegazione di come veniva lavorato il vino in tutto il suo processo. Vini molto buoni e non banali. Stata una bellissima esperienza.
Dovreste mettere in risalto di più le potenzialità della tenuta facendoci un ristorante magari

Esperienza al di sotto delle aspettative

Il nostro percorso prevedeva la visita alla cantina, tuttavia arrivati sul posto il fornitore ci ha annunciato che la cantina non era agibile (!?)
Senza alcuna introduzione descrittiva ci sono stati serviti i 3 calici di vino previsti con altri prodotti locali.

Spero in un miglioramento futuro.

Salve sig. Nicola, mi scuso personalmente per l'accaduto.
Sempre le nostre esperienze degustazione prevedono un tour con spiegazione della nostra filosofia aziendale e spiegazione dei nostri vini, purtroppo quel giorno la figura che si occupa del tour non era presente per un imprevisto e le cantine per ragioni di sicurezza quel weekend non erano agibili per lavori interni.
La invitiamo di nuovo presso le nostre cantine per godere di un esperienza migliore e più completa.
Ci scusiamo di nuovo per l'accaduto.

Sobre la bodega y los vinos

Tenuta Mariani extends over about 20 hectares in the hills between Massarosa and Lucca and around Lake Massaciuccoli. Our reality was born in 2010, thanks to the passion of the owner, Ido Mariani for the world of sparkling wines. We have vineyards both in front of Lake Massaciuccoli where we produce one of our Classic Methods and White Wines, at Torre del Lago 500 metres from the sea where we produce our Charmat Method, and on the hills of Lucca for our Classic Methods and Red Wines. We also produce Extra Virgin Olive Oil from our Massarosa Hills. The sparkling wines of the Tuscan Coast and our Charmat Method called "Vini di Spiaggia" are our main products, together with our still wines, all produced according to the dictates of organic farming. Producing sparkling wines in this area is not easy, but with dedication and passion every day we work in the vineyard and in the cellar to produce something typical and unique.

Our Wines are: Sparkling in Classic Method : Segreto Brut- Segreto Fut de Chene and Segreto Fut de Chene Rosè Sparkling in Charmat Method: Segreto SabbiaMare, Segreto SabbiaMare Rosè, Segreto SabbiaMare Malvasia Demisec and Stile Segreto Still Wine: Segreto Rosso Merlot, Segreto del Castello Pinot Nero, Segreto Bianco Vermentino, Segreto del Castello Traminer e Segreto Rosè. Grapes: Vermentino- Ciliegiolo and Sangiovese for the local grapes. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Syrah and Traminer for the international grapes.
