Our story begins in 1986, when 5 families of winegrowers, proud of our results, we decided to create our own winery and ventured into the world of oenology.

Rooted to Terra Alta, we are delighted to share our wines with the rest of the world. There is nothing better than being able to taste the fruit obtained from our work in the fields. We are committed to the land, and we are pleased to work hard to improve.

Today, after more than 30 years of experience and commitent to continue producing some of the best wines in Terra Alta, we are keen to expand our vision.

Currently, we cultivate around 180 hectares of different varieties. White Grenache, Red Grenache, Chardonnay, Syrah, Carignan,..., and Peluda Grenache! A variety native to our area.

We offer young white, rosé and red wines and vintages of high quality. We are aged in oak barrels and we age under the sea! You will find our treasures of the sea in bottles (Mar de Batea) or amphora (S'amfora). All with the characteristics and distinction that the Terra Alta label represents.

Celler La Botera makes great wines, and we also have sweet wines, vinegars and Vermouth!!
