À propos du vignoble et des vins

Cantina Monte Zovo was founded in Caprino Veronese, a few steps from Lake Garda and at the foot of Monte Zovo. Since the beginning, the Cottini family has run the company with passion and dedication, carrying out a daily commitment and objective: to preserve biodiversity and enhance the identity of the territory. The protection of biodiversity is a fundamental value for this family. Monte Zovo was the first winery in the world to obtain, in 2013, the Biodiversity Friend certification, a standard that certifies high levels of biodiversity conservation in agriculture. The winery, renovated in 1995, is still an example of ecological practices applied to winemaking, as well as being an ideal place to welcome visitors and enthusiasts for experiences dedicated to wine, the land and wine culture. For its commitment to environmental protection and its activities to promote biodiversity, the winery was awarded a prize in the Best of Wine Tourism 2020 International Competition, in the category 'Sustainable Policies in Wine Tourism 2020'.
