À propos du vignoble et des vins

Cascina Adelaide: an undergound cellar, bounded by a small stream at the convergence of two slopes, hidden by a heavy glass blanket that appears along the way, rising up from its weight, to allow a glimpse of the processing of grapes in fermentation and transformation into wine.

CascinAdelaide born from a dream: the dream of Amabile Drocco, who in 1999, at the age of 57, left the mechanical company he founded in Alba to his two sons, to devote himself to his greatest passion Cascina Adelaide is a tribute to his father, a farmer of other times, a return to the land as a sign of continuity with family traditions , an act of love and respect to our Langhe.

Immediately after engineering degree in January 2021, next to Amabile Drocco entered his granddaughter Chiara, now head of the company.

It was the love for her beloved Langa and for its fruits, transmitted by her grandfather, that guided her in the cellar, projecting the company into the future with the third generation.

The winery was founded in 2000 at the foot of the medieval castle of Barolo and boasts 12 hectares of wonderful vineyards, of which 10 exclusively of Nebbiolo da Barolo with eight historical "cru" in 5 different towns in the area of Barolo.

The remaining 2 hectares are of traditional varieties such as Barbera, Langhe Nebbiolo, Dolcetto di Diano D'Alba and Nascetta (our only white grape variety, autochthonous and ancient in the area of Novello).
