Tapada de Coelheiros is a family property that has been producing quality wines in the Alentejo since 1991. Located in Igrejinha, from 1 h30 minutes away from Lisbon, between Évora and Arraiolos, it shares the philosophy of art of the famous handcrafted rugs: embroidery in the smallest known stitch, resulting in the possibility of a detailed and rigorous design. This is how Coelheiros wines are born, from parcel to parcel and from batch to batch, a composition that is woven in deep connection with the land and nature.
The image of Coelheiros translates the connection to the territory, origins and traditions. Inspired by the art of Arraiolos Carpets, it evokes the uniqueness of each parcel and each variety and the way in which they are meticulously crafted, point by point, but always integrated into the whole, in perfect symbiosis with nature. Synonymous with consistency and resistance, this secular art also expresses the distinctive profile of Coelheiros wines: wines with longevity, which evolve with time.
