This private one-day tour will take you on a discovery of some of the most prestigious vineyards in northwest Argentina.
Salta province is home to the highest-altitude wine region in the world, and the area is still a relatively undiscovered gem. In the premier wine town of Cafayate, you will taste Malbec, the prime red grape variety of Argentina, and Tannat, a deep tannic red perfect for the traditional Argentine barbecue. You will also get to taste this area’s trademark of Salta - Torrontes.
On the way to Cafayate and back (a three-hour ride each way), you will pass through the tobacco fields of the Valle de Lerma and enjoy the stunning ochre colors of the Quebrada de las Conchas canyon. You will have time to visit at least 2 wineries with lunch at a third (not included in the price). This trip is tailor-made to your tastes, in a private vehicle with an English-speaking guide.
