This comprehensive experience invites you to delve into the heart of Lignanello's world — a world rich in history, artisanal products, and the distinctive local specialties that define this remarkable region.

Your adventure commences with a guided tour that opens a window into the production areas of Lignanello. Stroll through the vineyard, where the majestic Sangiovese grape reigns over the land. As you stroll, you'll tread paths resonating with the history of generations, leading you to the cellar—an exceptional space carved from Pliocene rock millions of years old. Within this cellar, wines mature in French oak barrels, nurtured by the ideal humidity created by the surrounding rock.

The tasting, a crown jewel of this experience, features 3 Lignanello's wines: Saggiolo Il Bianco, a harmonious blend of primary and tertiary aromas; Bandolo Toscana Rosso IGT, an embodiment of simplicity and freshness; and Contrasti Orcia DOC, a wine of robust character matured in French oak. This delightful wine journey is complemented by a selection of delectable local products: organic cold cuts sourced from local wild pigs, Pecorino di Pienza, and bruschetta with estate-produced extra virgin olive oil.

Abbiamo molto apprezzato tutto ciò che la cantina Lignanello ci ha offerto, dalla splendida vista delle vigne e dell'uliveto circostanti, alla location interna, e specialmente i vini e lo squisito tagliere che li accompagnava. La gentilissima Martina ti trasmette quanta passione ha per il suo lavoro, ed allo stesso tempo ti fa sentire di casa! Un'esperienza meravigliosa che consigliamo a tutti

It’s our first time to join a winery tour and this is definitely where we suggest to start with! Wonderful owner show us around and taught us a lot about the place and knowledge about the wine. Cozy vineyard and winery and the vibe is very comfy! The platers are great with the wines. We are also very enjoying the homemade figs jam! It’s really a bonus of taste!
Hope we could buy some figs jam home next time!

siamo felicemente stati ospiti in questa piccola realtà per una degustazione dei loro prodotti e devo dire che la passione e l'impegno che Martina mette nelle sue produzioni si sente tutta! consiglio vivamente a tutti di fare un giro alla cantina lignanello per non perdersi il vero vino toscano.

biologischer Anbau im Familienbetrieb

Als Einsteiger in die Weinwelt durften wir eine ganz besondere Führung in den noch sehr jungen Betrieb kennen lernen. Mit viel Herzblut wird hier auf biologischer Basis Wein und Olivenöl in der 3. Generation angebaut. Man spürt die Begeisterung und Leidenschaft und hat einen guten Einblick in Anbau, Ernte und Verarbeitung.
Es zeichnet den kleinen Betrieb aus, dass er sich hervorhebt durch biologischen Anbau.
Sehr zu empfehlen, auch für spontane Anmeldungen.

Fue una cata de vinos jóvenes deliciosos con una excelente explicación del proceso de cultivo de vinos que ha transcendido generaciones y que aún hoy disfrutan en la elaboración de un proceso tan delicado. Muy recomendada la visita, una experiencia que hace merecimiento a la zona de la Toscana!!

La cantina Lignanello è un piccolo gioiello della Val d’Orcia.
La visita, curata da Martina, è stata molto chiara e ci ha fatti entrare nel vivo di una piccola azienda familiare, ma soprattutto genuina.
Il vino che abbiamo assaggiato, accompagnato dalla spiegazione e di Martina, è stato la rappresentazione dell’intento di questa cantina: qualità.
Raccomando la cantina Lignanello a tutti per un’esperienza unica.

Immediatamente si percepisce che l’ambiente è familiare nel vero senso della parola…solamente una famiglia gestisce e in modo egregio l’intero complesso, che non solo si occupa di vino ed olio ma anche di bambini e gastronomia. Ottima esperienza!!
Continuate sicuramente ad investire nelle competenze così da efficientare anche quanto viene dall’esterno per farlo proprio!

Un racconto autentico della val d'Orcia

La visita alla cantina Lignanello è stata un'esperienza davvero meravigliosa. Non è facile in Toscana trovare cantine così autentiche e noi fortunatamente l'abbiamo scovata quasi per caso. È una piccola cantina famigliare che abbraccia 3 generazioni di persone appassionate del loro territorio, che si sono tirate su le maniche per non perdere le loro tradizioni e per coltivarle in un modo rispettoso del passato, dell'ambiente e del futuro. Il racconto è stato completo e onesto, la degustazione davvero impeccabile, vini eccellenti. Panorama mozzafiato in un luogo davvero magico. Complimenti a tutta la famiglia, consigliata assolutamente!
