Enjoy the last days of warmth and join Quinta da Aveleda during the most important time of the year, harvest season! From September 2nd to 9th an exciting activity awaits you. It will be a truly exceptional week, filled with special guests and live music.
Here is the program of your day:
09:00 AM – Reception at the Welcome Center (welcome kit delivery)
09:30 AM – Grape Harvesting Activity
10:30 AM – Morning Snack + Alvarinho Vertical Wine Tasting
11:30 AM – Bread-Making Workshop
12:00 PM – Visit to the Old Winery
12:30 PM – Lunch with Harvest Soup
02:30 PM – Guided Tour of Quinta da Aveleda's Gardens (approx. 45 minutes)
Your typical lunch will consist of:
Welcome Drink: Sparkling Wine or Fruitzy Pear, a platter of sausages, and Aveleda Cheeses
Appetizers: Selection of bread | Flavored Olives | Herb Butter
Entrance Wine: Red Sangria or Aveleda L&A
Soup: Harvest Soup
Petiscos (Appetizers): Assorted Savories, Peixinhos da Horta (Green Bean Tempura), Cod Salad with Chickpeas, Egg, and Olives, Boiled Octopus with Green Sauce, Mini Rojões à Minhota (Marinated Pork) with Tomato Rice
Main Wine: Villa Alvor Red or Vinhas do Sabor Red
Dessert: Sweet Harvest - "Sopa Seca" (Dry Soup)
Digestive: Port Wine Reserva or Adega Velha
If you wish to extend your harvest experience into the afternoon, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Quinta da Aveleda has several programs for you to choose from. Check out the additional activities for each day and join the one that interests you the most!

September 3rd / 6th / 8th - Escape Game in the Garden + Snack with Wine Tasting in the Old Kitchen
September 4th / 7th - Wine Painting Workshop + Snack with Wine Tasting in the Old Kitchen
September 5th / 9th - Wine Making Workshop + Snack with Wine Tasting in the Old Kitchen
Booking Policy & Details
Arrival at the estate should be made 15 to 10 minutes before the scheduled activity time to avoid impacting its duration. In the event of a delay of up to 20 minutes, that time will be deducted from the scheduled activity. If the delay exceeds 20 minutes and the client has more than one activity scheduled, they will be redirected to the next one.
No pets are allowed, except for guide dogs.
