The tradition of Txakoli in the Bikandi family has been handed down from father to son, like so many traditions of the Basque Country for centuries. This culture of knowing how to live with the jewels that the land provide becomes something more professional in a small winery with a small vineyard in Artabilla, Durango, in 1982 year After ten years working in as small vineyard and winery we decided to extend the vineyards in Eguzkitza neighborhood, in Durango, in 2000 year, and create a new winery in 2009 year, with the most modern machinery that we can find in the market.

The vineyard has many acres of vineyards. Located in the valley of Durango, on the slopes of Anboto mountain and looking to Oiz mountain. Surroundings winery, in the neighborhood Eguzkitza is the vineyard. It was planted in 2000 year, with a particular orientation to which the vine has a constant breeze throughout all the year, benefiting the crop. The varieties with which it works are the Ondarrabi Zuri, Riesling, Folle Blanc and Gros Manseng, which are suitable for the preparation of Bikandi and Mikeldi Txakolina. When working in the vineyard we take care and respect the environment.
