Great wines to taste at 2.90€ a glas. They serve gorgeous portions. You can taste the wine's on a beautiful terrace behind the bodega, overlooking the wine yard's. We felt realy welcomed here.

Cantina e Vini

For several centuries belonged to one of the most important families of Lanzarote. Almost no activity in 2001, with the new century, was given a new impetus, taking in a few years the head winemaking on the island. From Bodegas Los Bermejos we strongly believe that the quality of our wines depends on the quality of the grapes with which they do and that is why our greatest effort is aimed at getting the best grapes in order to get the best wine. Lanzarote offers us a unique and unbeatable conditions to achieve this, climate, soil, grape varieties, crop peculiarity, everything happens in our land, all we have to do is put in the bottle fermented juice of the grape, without handle , transform or promote anything. Our wines reflect the richness of our land, our landscapes and the efforts of our farmers.

The cultivation of vines in Lanzarote is characterized by not having suffered the plague of phylloxera. This was a plague caused by a nematode, from the Americas, wiped out the crops in the European continent in the second half of the nineteenth century, forcing plant roots of American varieties resistant to the parasite and graft them with European varieties of grapes more enological quality. In this process we lost many varieties of wine and reduced both the culture of others that are almost missing. The vines are cultivated in lanzarote free standing, meaning they own the root of European grape variety, thus maintaining the rich variety and winemaking before phylloxera.
