Cantina e Vini

The wines of Bodegas del Medievo originate from vineyards whose proprietors are also partners of the winery. What makes their vineyards so special is that the vines possess the exceptional characteristics that derive from the unique climate and soils of the area. Following a meticulous vinification process, the winery obtains wines that are typically characteristic of La Rioja, from the young, fresh and fruity Cofrade range and the magnificent Medievo Crianza, Reserva and Gran Reserva to the top quality range of Tuercebotas varietals. The latest addition to our range of wines has been a traditional Crianza, a warm an Mediterranean style wine, called "Medievo Notes". The main activity of Bodegas del Medievo are our vineyards, of which define the real identity of this wine producer. The cultivated varieties of grape are Tempranillo, Garnacha, Mazuelo and Graciano. The vineyard zone extends to the highest part of Aldeanueva de Ebro. The cultivated land where the vineyards lie is diverse, however there are also land areas very poor of quality and with little depth, but ideal conditions for the growth of extremly good quality grapes.
