AGRADABLE VISITA A UNA BODEGA BASTANTE MODERNA
Hicimos la visita, la guía muy agradable. Tras la visita degustamos varios vinos con unos colinas en la sala de catas y posteriormente comimos en la misma bodega un menú bastante decente.
Decir que estoy más habituado a las tradicionales de la zona de Haro, pero no por ello deja de merecer la pena.

Cantina e Vini

Surrounded by vineyards in the upper and lower part of the Estate - overlooking the Sierra de Guara and Carrodilla, the Pyrenees and and opposite the Monasterio del Pueyo - our Estate and Winery has a great team! For winemaking, the winery has 46 double fermentation tanks of 23,000 L (real capacity up to 17,000 L each in the lower tank section), 8 fully insulated and temperature controlled storage tanks of 37,000 L and a total of 3,000 barrels. The entire complex is built in a Zen Style, cutting edge architecture applying the latest winemaking technology and blends into the countryside!

At the foot of the Pyrenees, the most unique vineyard/Estate of Laus is Bachimaña, a 500 meter plot with 200 hectares suitable for vines at over 750 meters high (the highest significant Estate in the Somontano). Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, Gewürztraminer, Moristel, Garnacha and Syrah are varieties selected by us and that are planted in our vineyards. Eight different varieties of grapes, from which we obtain wines of promise and elegance, such as the Chardonnay, the Queen of white grapes that has adapted so well to this region. Classy rosado (made only from free run juice) and red wines made from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, the delicate fruit flavours of Tempranillo and the legendary Syrah of uncertain Persian origin are all at work and used for our winemaking.
