Quattra Goomba is a wonderful winery and brewery. Their wine selections are very good, with a an absolutely astounding red blend called Tradizione, which is aged in oak bourbon barrels.

The staff is very friendly and quite knowledgeable. Ask for Miss Jenny, who knows everything about their offerings. All are kind and explain the nuances very well. The wine masters also pitch in and pour tastings.

If you aren't a wine fan, walk 30 feet around the corner and try the beers and ales. Choose and of about 20, or a sampler flight of 5.

Oh, and they are dog friendly. My Wine Dog Brody and I love to stop in for a tasting and some crackers for him. The staff will happily get you a bowl of water.

Although close to Leesburg and what I...

Although close to Leesburg and what I would call the Route 7 Brewery corridor, this location is a bit out of the way if you are brewery hopping in the local area. It is nicely co-located with a winery for additional options if you are with people to whom beer may not be their thing. Their selection beer seems to be acceptably diverse in offering more than just IPA's which is a great thing I look for out of a brewery since IPA's are not my thing despite the regional fad in the Hops flavor. I had a glass of what they call the Cake Eater which the name seems to be misplaced as its really a Honey Wheat Beer. It has a taste of Honey but only for brisk second after it goes into your mouth. At first I wasn't sure I liked it but it grew on my after drinking half the glass. Definitely worth the visit if to at least check the place out.
