Cantina e Vini

The Torre Rosano winery is located between the hills and gullies of the municipalities of Roccanova and Sant’Arcangelo, areas particularly suited to viticulture, so much to obtain in 2008 the DOP Grottino di Roccanova. The farm, which has been operating entirely organically since 2002, covers an area of about 26 hectares, including 8 hectares of vineyards. The wines are produced respecting culture and tradition; aged in Italian oak barrels, French oak and Italian chestnut. Everything happens in the “wine caves”. Characteristic tunnels dug into the sandstone (moraine sediments), where temperature and humidity are constant all year round. Sara Maria Collarino took over the management of the company in 2012 from her father Francesco Paolo, who led it since 1987. The family tradition dates back to the mid-nineteenth century and refers to his great-grandfather Francesco Paolo Collarino, owner among other things of an inn that ceased its activity in 1985 under the management of his grandfather Vincenzo Collarino.
