The family farm La Serra is built around a defense tower, a unique place to contemplate the landscape between the Garraf Natural Park Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. The cellar, founded in the 16th century, was completely renovated in 2002 with state-of-the art equipment. Our wine is sold on-site at the winery, in restaurants, specialty wine stores in the EU and also exported to US and Japan. The origins of the farm date back to the middle ages. Records show that the name La Serra has been associated with the property since the 12th century. The Bartra Roig family has been here since at least 1540, continuing a long tradition of caring for the land, growing crops, and winemaking.That winemaking heritage can be seen in awards going back to the 1880s: Bronze medal at the Vilanova regional show (1882) and Silver Medal at the Barcelona World Exposition (1882).
