However, other grape varieties such as Müller-Thurgau, Riesling and Pinot Noir also thrive here and ensure a diverse selection of wines.
Franconian wine is also characterized by its unmistakable bottle design: The so-called "Bocksbeutel" bottle is a trademark of the region and embodies tradition and quality.
