Our vineyards are cultivated according to the principles of natural viticulture.
The vineyards are planted with a variety of colorful flowering herbs and grasses. This improves the soil structure and increases the humus content, but also provides an ideal habitat for beneficial insects, which are able to maintain a natural balance in our vineyards. In conjunction with the use of the biotechnical process of the entanglement method, we can now dispense with the use of insecticides.
We counteract the development of harmful fungi through reduced pruning, intensive foliage work and targeted defoliation.

Franconian wine is known for its high quality and variety. The Franconian region, especially along the Main and its tributaries, offers ideal conditions for winegrowing. The steep vineyards, characterized by shell limestone and Keuper soils, as well as the temperate climate create optimal conditions for the cultivation of different grape varieties.

Particularly noteworthy is the Franconian Silvaner, which is considered the region's flagship and is known for its fresh acidity, mineral notes and balanced aromas. However, other grape varieties such as Müller-Thurgau, Riesling and Pinot Noir also thrive here and ensure a diverse selection of wines.

Franconian wine is also characterized by its unmistakable bottle design: The so-called "Bocksbeutel" bottle is a trademark of the region and embodies tradition and quality.

All in all, Franconian wine stands for quality craftsmanship, the passion of the winegrowers and a long tradition dating back to the Middle Ages.
