Private Wine Tour for Connoisseurs in the Euganean Hills! This exclusive wine tasting tour in the Euganean Hills will take you on a journey through these volcanic-origin hills, rising between 300 and 600 meters in the Po Valley, just a few kilometers south of Venice.
You’ll venture into the heart of the Euganean Hills Regional Park, where visits to two renowned wineries will introduce you to the finest wines of the region. Thanks to the area’s volcanic soil and distinctive climate, a wide variety of grape varieties thrive here. Among the white wines, you’ll find Serprino (a local biotype of Glera, often referred to as the “volcanic version” of Prosecco), Pinot Bianco, Garganega, Chardonnay, and Manzoni Bianco. The red wines include Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Carménère, which have found an ideal home in these lands.
During your vineyard walk, cellar visit, and guided wine tastings, the winemaker will share expert insights, helping you appreciate the nuances and complexity of each wine.
This tour includes pick-up and drop-off from your hotel in Padua, Abano, or Montegrotto Terme. If arriving from Venice, train tickets can be included for an additional fee.
