Tenuta Artimino welcomes you for a vertical tasting, a special way to discover wine. By tasting different vintages of the same Carmignano DOCG, you will be able to discover the nuances that a wine can develop over the years and compare them with each other.
This experience provides the best way to appreciate the aging skills of Tenuta Artimino's Carmignano. Normally you start tasting from the youngest to the oldest wine. In this way, having appreciated the freshness of the younger vintages, you can better perceive the complexity of the older vintages.
After a quick tour of the Villa Medicea (upon availability), the tasting can take place inside the underground vaults of the Villa Medicea. Here you will taste 5 wines: Carmignano 2017, 2012, 2006, 2004, and 1998, accompanied by a platter of cold meats and cheeses.
