In the ancient underground of Villa Medicea la Ferdinanda you will have the opportunity to taste the expression of the Carmignano Docg in old vintages.
Tasting will be conducted by a sommelier who will guide you to the discovery of this special grape. Vertical tasting is the best way to appreciate the aging ability of the Carmignano. We will start from the youngest wine to the oldest one. By so doing we'll perceive the complexity of older vintages.
These are the vintages we'll taste: 1998, 2000, 2004 and 2015; wine will be paired with a platter of local cured meats and cheeses.
