The view was 10/10 and then some - we came late in the arvo and it was perfect.
Wines were probably a bit dry for my liking but that’s subjective.
The server was helpful and knowledgeable but probably not as enthusiastic and personal as some other places we went to

We came here to celebrate my husband’s birthday.

Firstly on arrival it was quite windy and busy.

As we stepped in waited for a good ten minutes then finally a lady arrived and asked us to roam around while their staff would arrive to guide us.

We had taken premium tasting along with our picnic so after the tour of their mini museum we were taken to a room where we tasted wine.

The staff was sweet and poured wine individually to all of us alongside the story of the winery and Audrey which was quite boring at a point of time. There was no cheese or cracker offered so we did all this tasting empty stomach.
At the end as a part of our picnic bag we were asked to choose a wine which was good.
But the biggest let down was the picnic bag it was this silly pink bag with 2 sandwiches which looked dry and weren’t what we had specified and confirmed via email as a part of our dietary requirements. So we were starving literally. The cheese in it was bland and the bag of chocolate was tasteless.

We were offered wine glasses and rug both dirty.

I would not recommend this picnic in any way and instead would suggest to just drive here click pictures get your own food and just go for the basic wine tasting at 10$ over the 150$ we ended paying.

Totally ruined our day!

Would definitely rate this among the best...

Would definitely rate this among the best Vineyards and even right on top of a few of the wines I've tried in AU. Offers a great view of the valley and houses of a sort-of a museum. The only downside was the staff.. they were quite arrogant - may be a bad day but dented out experience.

Fantastic! Visited in June and was looked after by Nick for a wine tasting. He communicated clearly, smoothly and passionately and was so patient with all the questions up and down the bar. The Oakdale Chardonnay was a real delight, make sure you ask about the oaking process if you're unsure and they'll sort you out. Thanks and see you next time!
