Explore the vineyards of the Rheingau aboard a Land Rover and enjoy a wine tasting surrounded by the spectacular vineyards of the  Erste Gewächs.

On this tour, you will have the opportunity to discover the best vineyards of the Rheingau and taste the matching wines. You will also be provided with interesting insights on the most important vineyard soils such as loess loam, marl, slate, phyllite, and quartzite. Surrounded by vineyards, you will enjoy a tasting of 5 wines. The focus of the tasting will be the influence that each terroir has on the wine.

The tour starts in Eltville or one of the other nearby romantic villages, for example at your hotel. From there, the off-road Land Rover tour will take you to the Erste Gewächs vineyards: Rüdesheimer Berg Roseneck, Aßmannshäuser Höllenberg, Schloss Johannisberg, and Schloss Vollrads to the vantage point at the Eberbach monastery's monk's vineyard, the Steinberg. Finally, a snack with local products like cheese, sausages, and bread will be prepared for you at the panoramic hut in Kiedricher Gräfenberg.
