Join us at the Benedetti & Grigi winery in Montefalco, in the Sagrantino Wine Region, for an enriching wine tasting and cellar tour experience. Our journey begins with a guided tour of our young and innovative winery, where you’ll explore our production facilities, bottling and labeling areas, and the barrels and barriques used for aging our wines. You'll discover the story of Benedetti & Grigi, owners of 75 hectares of vineyards spread across Bevagna, Trevi, and Montefalco. Here, we primarily produce Sagrantino, the "king of tannins" and Umbrian wines, as well as Rosso di Montefalco, Trebbiano Spoletino, and Grechetto.
After the tour, you'll be seated either indoors or outdoors, depending on the weather, for a wine tasting session. Enjoy four glasses of carefully selected wines, both white and red, based on the season and participants' preferences. Each wine will be accompanied by a detailed explanation of its characteristics and labels, alongside a delicious platter of local cold cuts and cheeses.
