Wine Tasting at the foot of the historic Villa Migliarina, surrounded by the greenery of Tuscany

Here is what's in store for you

This wine experience at the Migliarina and Montozzi estate includes an introduction to the world of Chianti, including a brief description of the winery and the historic family, which has owned it since as far back as 1660.

After the introduction, we will move on to the tasting of the wines, all of which are organic. We will start with a typical Tuscan "Trebbiano 100%" white wine, a "Canaiolo 100%" rosé, a trio of Chianti DOCG red wines, an IGT red wine with a particular label that recalls the "notes" of the wine. Finally you'll taste the two most important red wines of the winery; "Castello di Montozzi Sangiovese" and "Castello di Montozzi Cabernet-Sauvignon" where it is possible to notice extremely different scents conferred by the use of the two cultivars, despite the fact that the winemaking process is identical.

Moving a bit away from the classic wines, you will have the opportunity to taste Migliarina and Montozzi's "Vinsanto", typical sweet dessert wine, with a visit to the Vinsantaia, an area suitable for the drying of white grapes, destined for the production of Vinsanto. It will also be possible to taste our "Grappa" super alcoholic 43° grape distillate. To conclude the experience, you'll enjoy a tasting of Tuscan olive oil accompanied by bruschetta, which differs from others due to its deep green color and its typical spicy notes.
