Poggio Santa Maria, a newly built winery, in complete harmony with the surrounding nature, welcomes you for a sensory wine experience to discover local smells and flavors.
The experience begins with a tour of the cellar, from the basement where the grapes are vinified and rest in French oak barrels, to the terrace, to enjoy the panorama of Lake Chiusi, the border between Umbria and Tuscany.
To conclude the experience, you have the opportunity to among these wine-tasting options:
- Three senses: tasting of 3 wines with mixed bruschetta and Poggio Santa Maria's olive oil
- Five senses: tasting of 4 wines with mixed bruschetta and a selection of local cheeses
- Sixth sense: tasting of 5 wines with mixed bruschetta, a selection of local cheeses and cold cuts, and Fagiolina del Trasimeno (local beans).

Ottima degustazione con un panorama fantastico
I vini veramente buoni. Il vino rosato una bellissima scoperta. Tutta la degustazione è stata accompagnata da cibo tipico che era decisamente azzeccato. Era presente alla nostra degustazione anche il proprietario che è una persona molto disponibile e gentile.

If you're not in a car make sure you book taxis in advance, we made the mistake of leaving it last minute and almost couldn't go!

Stunning scenery and amazing hospitality!
Francesca gave us a comprehensive tour of the cellar and distillery, as well as explaining the local area and history of the vineyard. We could not fault her attention to detail and engagement with us.
The food was delightful, and so much of it! And the wine- belissima!
