Hatzidakis Haridimos Winery SantoriniWinery and vineyards are located within the classified zone of Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) Santorini, especially in the villages Pyrgos Kallistis, Megalochori, Emporio and Akrotiri. We cultivate a total of 10 hectares of vineyards, at an altitude from 70 up to 350 meters, with mainly South or Southeast orientation and with the white varieties of Assyrtiko, Aidani and the red variety Mavrotragano. In all of our vineyards we apply organic farming. We make up our production from grapes of cooperating winegrowers in order to produce more dry white wines, a red dry, a sweet traditional Vinsanto wine, from sun dried white grapes and a sweet red Voudomato wine from also sundried red grapes of the Voudomato variety. Based on the contractual agriculture, we have already concluded agreements with growers who also cultivate their vineyards organically and are controlled accordance with the European control system of organic farming. We produce two organic wines from the varieties Aidani (100% Aidani – PGI Cyclades) and Assyrtiko (100% Assyrtiko – PDO Santorini).

Vrinioti WinesVRINIOTI family winery was established in 2002 but our relation with wine products goes back to when Konstantinos Vrinioti's ancestors started planting vines in the area and built an old traditional stone winery. The construction of our modern facilities started in 2007 and was completed in the summer of 2008. The expertise in producing exceptional traditional wines has always been based on our love for this family tradition. Today this love is a passion which we enclose in few and rare bottles in our modern winer. Our winery is located in a small village North Evia, 15km from Edipsos, Gialtra. We created a modern winery which is open for visits all year round. Visitors to the area should not miss tha chance to go on a tour of our facilities, so that they can taste our wine products and learn about the production process.

Gerovassiliou to constantly research and experiment with Greek and foreign varieties, both well and less known ones. New technological advances blend well with tradition throughout vine growing and vinification processes.The aim is to produce high quality wines from grapes cultivated exclusively in the privately-owned vineyard; wines that carry all distinct characteristics of the specific microclimate (terroir) of Epanomi. The creation of the Wine Museum itself in combination with the various activities organized -visits, wine tastings, educational programs, seminars, publications, lectures, theatrical and musical performances- contribute to the diffusion of wine-growing culture.

Manousakis WineryOver the millennia the Lefka Ori Mountains of Western Crete have absorbed the quiet lifecycle for thousands of the island’s native flora. Walking these mountains in the spring is a sensory adventure filled with the scents of rosemary, thyme, sage, lavender, and chamomile. In the fall, they descend back to the soil and are absorbed. The quiet lifecycle continues. Our philosophy at the Manousakis Winery is just as simple. We believe in carefully and organically cultivating our vines to absorb this scent-filled terroir. The flavors of the grapes combine with the herbs for a truly unique taste. Each bottle of Nostos captures the character of this verdant island, and the slopes of the Lefka Ori. The Manousakis Winery is the culmination of one man, its founder Theodore Manousakis. Ted, as he is more commonly called, was born in the village of Vatolakkos in 1943. He left his village eleven years later, into an unknown future. America: The Promised Land. For an enterprising young man, the possibilities were endless. After university, Ted was successful in a number of business endeavors including industrial security, real estate development, and hospitality. But success came at a price: the near loss of his Cretan heritage. The Return: Nostos is the yearning to come home. It propelled Ted to the land of his birth, and on a higher level than mere visitor. He wanted to give something back to the island that he loved. Wine was a way of life in the village and a memory from his boyhood. There was no better way to pay homage to those traditions and it brought people together to enjoy life’s simple pleasures. Soil, sun, weather conditions and yearning converged to perfection. The Manousakis Winery was born and the first vineyards planted in 1993.

Sinadinakis WineryArchanes (Greek(Gr): Αρχάνες) is a traditional settlement which it is located in the heart of a major wine-making area of Heraklion (Gr.: Ηράκλειο),Crete. Archaeological evidence found in the area, proving evidence of the uniqueness of Archanes location and climate as one of the most important wine-growing regions since the Minoan era. Archanes roads Archanes is located in the center of the most important wine and agricultural region of Crete. The village is located 14 km. south-east of Heraklion, at the foot of the sacred mountain Giouchtas (Gr.: Γιούχτας), and 9 km. south of the archaeological site of Knossos Palace (25-35 minutes drive). The landmarks of Arhanes - is hills and valleys, fertile valleys and rich flora. Archanes resembles a small neo-classical town surrounded by olive groves and endless vineyards. A romantic village full of blooming gardens, famous for the important archaeological sites, the interesting museums and the excellent restaurants and tavernas. Archanes is well known for its typical Cretan architecture. Many old houses in the village have been restored, and the village has been even awarded as the second "best restored village in Europe".

La Tour MelasLa Tour Melas is set in 11 hectares near the village of Achinos in central Greece, two and half hours drive north of Athens. On an altitude of 300m, the property is surrounded by ancient, untouched oak forests, overlooking the Aegean Sea . In 2001, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot vines were imported from France and planted. Initially, a stone water cistern was constructed for irrigating the young vines. Subsequent expansion works gave rise to the tower ‘La Tour Melas. Nestled on the side of a valley, on clay limestone soil, at 180 meters altitude, the area is sloped South East. This allows the sea breeze to cool the vines during the day, while the rocky terrain keeps the vines warm at night, thus creating an ideal micro-climate. ’.

GENTILINI Winery & VineyardsGentilini was the family name of Spiro Nicholas Kosmetatos’ paternal grandmother, Marianna, the last of a long noble lineage. Marino Gentilini, an Italian army engineer, was commissioned by the Venetian Senate in 1593 to build the extensive Assos fortifications on Kefalonia). He eventually married and settled here, and his name was inscribed in the Libro d'Oro of noble families. In 1929, Gerassimo Cambitzi opened one of England’s first wineries, Isleworth Wineries, a little outside London. Thirty-five years later his grandson, Spiro-Nicholas Kosmetatos, planted his first vineyard of local and classic white grape varieties on Kefalonia. Having studied the latest techniques to identify the processes best suited to the climate, soil and varieties of the area, the first commercial vintage of Gentilini was released in 1984, simultaneously in Athens and London. At the time he was a pioneer in fine wine making in Greece and paved the way for other boutique wineries that followed. The winery and vineyards have now passed to the next generation. Nicholas’ daughter Marianna and her husband Petros Markantonatos took over the estate in 2002 with an eye on the future which, however, respects the experience of the past. As always, we aim to produce top quality, exciting and unique wines while promoting the unique flavours and aromas of the local Kefalonian varieties. All the steps that go into the making of these fine wines, from vineyard management to bottling and marketing, are overseen and controlled by us together with our resident winemaker, Mike Jones. Today, we have 10 hectares under vine which are certified organic and we make a core range of six wines. We also produce experimental wines each year to ensure that Gentilini keeps moving forward. Quantities have purposefully been kept low to ensure that quality is not compromised, with a total production of just 50,000 bottles annually.

Κτήμα Καμάρα Κιουτσούκη-KTIMA KAMARA WINERYOrganic farmers cultivate the land without burdening nature, respecting the environment using biological principles. They believe in biodiversity and try to avoid the use of chemicals (pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers) using instead plant- and mineral- based products to enhance the health of soils, the immunity and growth of plants and the quality of products. Natural winegrowers, much alike to organic farmers, are non- interventionists, use mainly traditional, gentle methods of production, believe that it is better to let nature take its course. When it comes to wine, natural winemakers use wild yeasts, use small or no doses of sulphur, mature the wine on fine lees, use as little rackings and filtration as possible. The final goal is to produce a living wine that has its own personality and evolves over time.
