Bersi Serlini Domaine finds its origin in the MiddleAge; in the related Abbazia di San Pietro in Lamosa, the Cluny Monks built the originary construction of our wine cellar: a dependence with farming and wine producing purpose. Big walls, made with field stones, with amazing barrel, groined and ribbed vaults. After 700 years of Cluny Monks, the property became private and in 1886 it was acquired by Bersi Serlini Family; it has been expanded in the second half of ‘900 from the grandpa, the Lawyer Piero Bersi Serlini and then restored under the visionary guide of the son Arturo. Arturo was the person who produced in 1970 the very first bottle of Brut in Franciacorta. Today Franciacorta still is property of Bersi Serlini Family. Arturo is the President of the Maison and with the daughters Chiara and Maddalena Bersi Serlini, follows with passion the bubbles production and the winery communication and public image.

Selva Capuzza is a 124-acres (50-hectares) family run estate producing wines in three distinct DOC appellations: Lugana, San Martino della Battaglia, and Garda Classico. The three DOCs overlap in this area. This is the only winery in the area that produces all three of these DOCs. The Formentini family pride themselves on working only with native grape varieties – you won’t find any Merlot or Chardonnay here! The white varieties are Turbiana (which is the principal grape in Lugana) and Tuchì (for San Martino della Battaglia). The red and rosé wines are made from: Groppello, Sangiovese, Barbera and Marzemino. The estate’s wines are all made in the cellar that is situated between the Cascina Capuzza and Borgo San Donino agriturismo. It was purpose built in 2001 to accommodate all the phases of winemaking, from the pressing of the grapes through the vinification and aging to bottling. The wines are made by a team led by Luca Formentini, with the help of a cellarman, a winemaker and an agronomist. Cellar visits and tastings are possible by appointment. All of Selva Capuzza’s wines are available for tasting and can be bought from the Winery Shop at Cascina Capuzza.

Lusenti Winery is in Vicobarone, near Ziano Piacentino, in the Val Tidone. The history of the winery began at the beginning of the nineteen hundreds when my grandfather Pietro bought the first farm for growing table grapes. In the 1960s my father Gaetano bought other land and planted vineyards that still produce excellent wine grapes today. I am the youngest of Gaetano’s three daughters. My sisters decided to go in different directions. I have stayed in the winery and am married to Giuseppe. Together we decided to dedicate ourselves to looking after the vineyards. azienda-mano-150x150It wasn’t an immediate decision. When you are young you don’t always understand what the right choice is for you, then life changes you. There were two factors in this change: firstly contact with nature, which speaks to you if you learn how to respect it and which teaches you the rhythm of life in the alternating of the seasons. Then there are the many friends that share your passions. Nature and friends prepare you to reach new heights and to move the aims that you want to reach further afield. Today the winery is ideally a junction between past and present, between the wines that make up part of our tradition and the wines created from decisions made in the early 1990s. However, there is still a long way to go, although it seems though that we have lost those inferiority complexes that hit you when faced with the titanic experience of the world of wine. Today with peaceful pride, we only produce wines from our own grape varieties: Bonarda, Malvasia di Candia aromatica and Ortrugo. It is our wealth of flavours and experience that the consumer has the chance to take away with them. Coming to the Lusenti winery is like coming home. The winery maybe medium-sized, but the welcome is that of a small family, busy with the wine and the work in the vineyard that produces it. Guests are always welcome here and there is always someone ready to welcome you.

The farmhouse "Cascina Carretto" is a reality working for a long time in the region of Franciacorta: indeed the Lamberti family has undertaken more than twenty years in the agritourism activity, which began in a farmhouse dating from 1600, carefully restored and renovated, surrounded by more than 20 hectares of land used for farming. On the upper floors of the farmhouse were also made small apartments, used for overnight stays or holiday periods, so you can enjoy your holiday in the green of the nature. Over the years, the original farmhouse, in which they were made six rooms of different size, it is then placed side by side, a new structure designed to accommodate banquets and ceremonies, in front of an artificial lake for sport fishing

In all likelihood things, as well as people, have a written destiny; or at least this is what one believes when looking back at the history of this Villa. It owes its present aristocratic appearance to two restructuring procedures, each carried out a century apart. The winery was built in the Fratta area of Monticelli Brusati, and was already held in high regard in the mid-1800s. In the second half of the nineteenth century, Sir Luigi Rossetti, a wealthy merchant from the local area, turned a farmhouse (presumably dating back to the 16th century) into his elegant mansion, as well as the headquarters of his wine trade, for which he built the beautiful wine cellars carved out by digging into the rocky hill behind the Villa. With four tunnels arranged in the form of a Greek cross, it could hold a good six thousand hectolitres of wine, which was a vast amount for that time. Hence the nickname given to it by the locals: "el cantinù," meaning 'the great cellar'.After Rossetti's death, there was a slow decline and everything seemed to be over. Then, in the late '70s, another man "of wine" burst into the "life" of the Villa: Franco Ziliani – patron of the Guido Berlucchi company – visited the winery, and despite finding it in dismal conditions, he grasped the enormous charm and uniqueness of the cellars. After a series of major consolidation, reconstruction and restoration works, the villa and the garden, with its characteristic ridges sloping down the hill, are yet again able to welcome and amaze visitors, immersing them in the hospitable warmth of rooms furnished with simple elegance.1979 saw the establishment of the new Antica Fratta project, aimed at restoring the winery to its former glory. Today Antica Fratta "relaunches" with new and greater ambitions, with the firm intention of becoming the "essence" of Franciacorta.

We have always had the passion for the viticulture. From the beginning of the 20th century, the property administration, where worked four share-farmer families, was divided in two parts: one to Miss Gina Castellini and the other one to her brother Isacco. From 1968 all the responsibility about the administration of the farm fell on her till 1992 when her son, Giovanni Vimercati, decided to dedicate full-time to his big passion: the viticulture. Our property stretches over 34 hectares and our vineyards over 9 hectares. Our wine cultivation is made following the most current viticulture instructions and the “ Consorzio Vini Franciacorta”, in which our farmhouse is a member.
