About Winery and Wines
Our immediate area around the winery is a park like setting with trees, wildlife, soft ripple sounds of the stream and sounds of the river rolling over the rocks. We are located on 50 acres in Washington County, Virginia, along the South Holston River. Two miles down river is South Holston Lake, a resort lake. Abingdon is a tourist town here in the Appalachian mountains, 20 miles east from Bristol, Virginia. The area is known for outdoor activities of boating, hiking, camping, biking, horse back riding, skiing, Blue Grass music, story telling and mountain crafts. The Virginia Creeper trail is 1/2 mile from our winery; bikers, horsemen/women, hikers enjoy this trail that goes from Abingdon to White Top Mountain. We are only 7 miles from Abingdon and 5 miles from Damascus-a town hosting the intersection of 5 different trails including the Appalachian Trail.
