Al Fèu 1915, a Sicilian winery spanning 7 hectares, crafts natural wines between Marsala and Trapani, embodying the region's heritage. Rooted in the Rizzo family's legacy, dating back to the 13th century, their passion for winemaking began in 1915 with patriarch Michele Rizzo. Passed down through generations, the family's dedication to quality and tradition shines in their unique wines, reflecting the rich culture and flavors of their land.
Al Fèu wines originate from the family's historic vineyards situated in Contrada Falconeria and Pozzillo. Positioned between 250 and 300 meters above sea level, this area experiences a temperate climate with notable day-night temperature fluctuations, ideal for grape ripening and enhancing aromatic complexity. These conditions foster a harmonious balance, imparting remarkable elegance and unique aromas to the wines, reflecting their terroir. Our focus lies in showcasing indigenous varieties like Catarratto and Inzolia, alongside well-suited international grapes such as Syrah and Merlot, thriving in the region's clayey and calcareous soils.
