Fantastica degustazione da Aldo Marenco
Con tutta calma abbiamo avuto la possibilità di scegliere i vini che avremmo degustato e, dopo la selezione, abbiamo potuto vedere la cantina e capire un po’ di più di come viene prodotto il vino nella tenuta.
Il sig. Marenco è stato estremamente chiaro nella sua spiegazione e ha risposto ad ogni nostra curiosità.
Dopo la visita della piccola cantina ci siamo seduti al tavolo - già preparato - per la degustazione.
Il cibo era ottimo, delizioso e rigorosamente locale.
Veramente degna di nota la giardiniera fatta in casa e i formaggi.
Non potevamo chiedere di meglio!

Intimo e buonissimo!
I vini e gli assaggi erano buonissimi, anche le opzioni vegetariane. L'ambiente era intimo e accogliente, l'attenzione data al cliente è stata massima, non c'è stato niente fuori posto. Consigliatissimo se desiderate qualcosa di "easy" e tranquillo con dei vini biologici buonissimi!

About Winery and Wines
The history of our vineyards is the history of our family, the Marenco, strongly rooted in Dogliani, a fraction of the Langhe area that has always been linked to wine. Our long peasant tradition of devotion to the land has never stopped starting from my great-grandfather Francesco to grandfather Luigi, my parents Aldo and Bruna and myself Claudio. Since the 1970s, wine has become the protagonist of our daily life, based on the expansion of our vineyards and on a substantial refinement of cellar techniques. We still cling to the peasant spirit, respect for nature, research search for the best position of the vineyards and continuous care of the rows, without involving any type of coercion or polluting treatments. Thanks to this innovative approach, already in 1991 we were among the first producers to obtain the Certification of Organic Competence which is now issued by Bioagricert.
Currently our vineyards extend over 25 hectares of land, 12 of which are dedicated to wines (Dolcetto, Barbera, Nebbiolo, Nascetta, Merlot) in the "Madonna delle Grazie" sub-area, at an average height of 400-500 meters above sea level , in other areas we also produce Arneis, Barolo and Barbaresco. From our vineyards we obtain tasty, genuine, fragrant and delicious wines that deserve to be discovered. All carry a designation of origin and are labeled with the same names as their vineyards. Overall we produce 70-80,000 bottles a year. They are all carefully checked in the cellar and destined for a selected market made up of importers, restaurants, wine bars, specialized shops and private consumers in Italy and around the world.
