Best experience ever!!! Mario was our guide and we did the tasting in the caves! They offered cheese along with the wine and as an extra treat, we sample wine from the barrels. Each wine was terrific!

After spending 2 days in Napa and Sonoma, Anderson's Conn Valley was hands down the best winery we visited. Mario took us to the wine cave where we tasted some delicious wines and he explained the history of the vineyard. He answered all of our questions about growing seasons, wine chemistry, and tasting notes.

I'm new to wine tasting but have been to several wineries in Napa. My experience at Anderson conn valley was nothing short of spectacular. We were hosted by Mario and definitely request him. He explained the wine making process along with how to taste wine on a level that a beginner could relate to. The tasting takes place in a exotic cave where you have 8 to 10 taste with a few barrel samples!! The whole experience is relaxed and unpretentious which I appreciate. Conn valley is a little off Silverado trail and about 2 miles into the base of Howell mountain but definitely worth the trek. This place is appointment only so you get a real private experience! They are a Cabernet Sauvignon house, but have several different wines including chardonnay, Pinot noir and sav blanc. Put this place on your list if your looking for a great experience!

Talk about a hidden gem off the beaten path!!! This place gets 5 stars all the way. Conn valley is located 10 minutes from st Helena off the Silverado trail. I go wine tasting in Napa a bunch and this place is my favorite, once you visit you will see why! For starters the property is gorgeous and so peaceful tucked away from the hustle and bustle of highway 29. Since its appointment only you get a private tasting experience which I always appreciate. There is not a bad wine in the lineup, they feature Sav blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot noir and 4 Cabernet Sauvignon. With this much variety it makes it fun for all. There known for Cabernet Sauvignon and there signature blend I would put it up against some of the best Napa has to offer. The tour is in a cave paired with cheese and crackers, you get about 9 tastes including a few barrel samples. If you want to revisit any wines to make up your mind on purchase they have no problem splashing you again, unlike other snooty wineries. Tasting fee is 65 but waived with 100 purchase which is not hard to do. Also located On the property is the world famous ghost horse vineyard which has the most expensive wine upon release in Napa. They taste you on this as well which is always fun to say you had. So if your looking for amazing wine, great relaxed experience come check out conn valley vineyards!
