About Winery and Wines

Our winery is the oldest in La Spezia. For four generations we have been carrying on with commitment and passion the traditions handed down from father to son for the production of our wines.
The nucleus from which it all began is in the heart of the Colli di Luni, where 17 hectares of vineyards extend like a scrub from Castelnuovo to the hills of Arcola, passing through Sarzana and La Spezia. Our winery in the Cinque Terre is more recently built, where we carefully and meticulously vinify the precious grapes that come from the 5 hectares of vineyard overlooking the sea.
Each step in production is carefully followed by family members, who constantly work to innovate without losing the essence of the territory and remaining faithful to the family philosophy.
We strongly believe in guided tours and in welcoming guests to the winery because in this way we can best convey our enthusiasm and our work linked to the territory.

Among the grape varieties we grow, found in the Colli di Luni denomination, you will find Vermentino, the most famous grape variety of the Ligurian Riviera del Levante, from which we produce not only our Colli di Luni DOC but above all the Vermentino Superiore "Il Prefetto". But not only that: Ciliegiolo, Vermentino Nero and Massaretta from which we produce reds and rosés.
For some years now we have started the project of sparkling wine production of local grapes, because we strongly believe in the quality of the raw material that our territory offers us; we have therefore started the production of Blanche, classic method Pas Dosè from Albarola grapes and Blanche Rosato from Ciliegiolo grapes.

In the Cinque Terre area, instead, among the terraced vineyards with breathtaking landscapes, we produce the white Cinque Terre DOC and the Rosso IGT based on Sangiovese. With the best grapes and with a lot of patience we give life to what is considered the king of passito wines, the infamous Sciacchetrà DOC, of ​​which we make very few bottles.
