It's become an annual tradition for my family to visit this winery. We bring a picnic to their picnic area, get wine glasses to enjoy outside, and take in the view while the kids play on the lawn. The staff are very kind and helpful, and it makes for a lovely, family-friendly way for us to enjoy the winery experience without having to leave the kids at home!

This is my favourite winery of the 30+ I've been to in the Okanagan in the past 3 months. Every varietal has the perfect blend of sweetness and rich complexity (I tend to be more of a white wine drinker). Oh and the view is second to none!

Great location, on site food is pricey but their wines are superb with a great value. Nice picnic area setup for those who want to bring their own lunch and enjoy a bottle of wine. Very friendly staff.

I watched this place grow up from a tiny tasting room that was at max capacity with 10 people to a beautiful wide open tasting room with stunning views of the lake below. Great place for a picnic!

About Winery and Wines

ARROWLEAF CELLARS is a family run business owned and operated by Joe and Margrit Zuppiger and their son, Manuel Zuppiger. The Zuppigers immigrated to Canada from Switzerland in 1986. Having run both fruit growing and dairy operations, Joe and Margrit were looking to try something new. In 1996 they purchased Suncrest Vineyard with the goal of starting a land based winery. Manuel went back to Switzerland to train as a winemaker and returned with a keen interest to make wine in the fledgling Okanagan wine region. Arrowleaf officially opened its doors in the spring of 2003 with its first vintages of 2001 reds and 2002 whites.

We are committed to producing the most local product we can, sourcing 90% of our grapes from Lake Country, and 10% from the Kelowna area. We believe that our wines should reflect our unique location and terroir. We focus on grape varieties that thrive in our area, dedicating ourselves to aromatic whites like Bacchus and cool climate reds like Pinot Noir. We source our wine bottles and caps from the nearest manufacturer in Washington state. We use Eco bottles which are made from recycled materials and are lighter than traditional wine bottles, reducing emissions in both manufacturing and transportation.
