Tenuta Merico was born in 2001 thanks to the young Daniele Merico, who grew up on his father's agricultural estate, who after years of study and experience in the wine sector decides to follow an ancient family passion, founding an important company, divided into three wine-growing areas, with 16 hectares of vineyards, located in the municipalities of Otranto, Melendugno and Brindisi. The newly built cellar features the best technologies made available for winemaking, storage and aging of wine. The care for the vines, the careful selection of the grapes and the vinification carried out according to traditional schemes and followed at every stage by the Merico family, from harvest to harvest, carried out in boxes to avoid early fermentation that could spoil the finished product, guarantee the high product quality. The company is now in a phase of expansion and the enthusiasm and love for the sector lead to constantly experimenting and developing new viticultural and oenological techniques aimed at improving the level of production year after year.
