Very beautiful winery. Cozy and modern. Their tasting and pairing meal is very nice for a group of friends or couples to enjoy and chat. Their Nosy Neighbor White and Red is our favorite.

A wonderful experience all around. Great wine. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and a fabulous energy every time I've been there. They hold a variety of events through the week and weekends that really speak to the local flavour of the area. It's been well worth the trip from Vancouver - every time.

Love this winery! I originally went in just to check it out, and the staff and wines were amazing, so I kept coming back. I have now attended events there as well, and I highly recommend checking it out. Backyard is local and consistently great

About Winery and Wines

Everyone at some point in their lives will experience an epiphany that will forever change their point of view or in this case, career. James Cambridge began that change almost 15 years ago when he decided to devote his professional life to producing wine. James realized that an education was important and so he moved from the Okanagan back to Ontario, where he grew up, to attend Niagara College. A fully integrated Oenology/Viticulture Program provided the building blocks to get him started toward the ultimate goal of becoming a Winemaker. James graduated at the top of his class, and combined this with some great early mentors, which gave him the necessary direction in a very focused and driven industry. In his travels James has worked for a number of great wineries, such as Henry of Pelham, Creekside Estate Winery, Summerhill Estate Winery, Le Vieux Pin, LaStella Estate Winery, and Fort Berens. All lending a different perspective to an ever evolving industry. Before returning to British Columbia James had an opportunity to manage a large vineyard in Ontario. Its value to his winemaking career he considers to be amongst the greatest lessons he has learned.
