The service was great, the property and horses were beautiful, and the wine was delicious! We particularly enjoyed the sweet and dry blueberry wines and the raspberry and blackberry infused wines. If you are in the area definitely drop by and if not, especially if you love sweet wines, order yourself a bottle; I doubt you'll regret it :)

We had a wonderful time. The wine was great and well priced. We ended up buying three bottles of wine. Our favorite was the pomegranate and the white grape. We definitely want to visit again!

About Winery and Wines

We are a family owned winery in the heart of north central Florida. Located on the eastside of Gainesville, one mile East of Newnan’s lake in a small community known as Windsor, which was to be the original location of the University of Florida. In the early summer of 2006, as a new energetic couple, Jennifer and Bradley Ferguson starting making wine in their kitchen out of the blueberries produced on the family farm after the commercial harvest was complete. We remember anxiously waiting for the first five gallons to be finished. Looking back it was mediocre at best, but we proudly drank it, sharing with friends and family, Each year we produced more and more, and the wine was better and better. After sharing it with friends and family, and the repetitive suggestions of starting a winery, we decided to go for it. This was the beginning of Bluefield Estate Winery. It has been a long and slow process going from the hobby of home-winemaking to a commercial winery. We are so proud to introduce you to the fruits of our labor and welcome you to Bluefield Estate Winery.
