For not much more than a tin...

For not much more than a tin shed in a paddock, this place is a great lunch destination.
Service was prompt and attentive throughout our visit, and the little things (immediately offering to replace our child's salad with vegetables when the meal was presented) demonstrate the strong service ethos at this family run winery.
Food was nicely presented, tasty, and reasonably sized (and priced). A kids menu is available, and vegetarians are also well catered for.
Loved the rosemary and garlic fries - I could've had even more of the delicious garlic (not sure my wife would appreciate it though).

Absolutely must try! Best rosemary garlic fries on the planet. Grilled salmon with dukkah is cooked to perfection. Had free wine tasting there too.

We had a birthday lunch in the cafe in April with the new menu. The food was delicious and interesting and the service from Maddy was excellent. We appreciated the chef taking time to come to our table so we could thank him for the meal. The Rose we had with our meal was, we think, one of the best we have tried in Australia. Well done Brookwood!
