This is the best winery my husband...

This is the best winery my husband and I have ever been to and we have been to all of them in Elgin/Sonoita along with many others is Napa and Temecula, CA. Not only is the wine fabulous, but the staff is too. We met Kent, Lisa and Jennie and loved them! They offer the best customer service around! They are personable and very knowledgeable on all of their wines. We enjoyed the ambiance too!
It is hard to narrow down our favorite wines because we truly enjoyed all of them! But, if I had to choose, for red, Caitlin's 2009 was to die for! I am a chocolate lover and this offered powerful flavors of berries and chocolate. What else can a gal ask for?!? This was a definite match for my pallet.
For white, I was in heaven with Ann's Selection 2010. I loved that nutty fruit aroma and it was so refreshing on my pallet.
We plan to make a trip out to Elgin next month, just for Callghan Vineyards and the amazing staff! No need to go anywhere else, this is a total one stop shop!

My husband and I love Callaghan Vineyards, Kent, Lisa & Goldie are perfect hosts, the wine is delicious and the area is so beautiful and peaceful! A must visit!

About Winery and Wines
Established in 1990, born out of a love of European wines, Callaghan Vineyards is wholeheartedly committed to growing and producing the best possible wines in Sonoita, Arizona. Together, Kent Callaghan and his father Harold planted the original vineyard. Kent has personally tended the vines and made every wine since the vineyard’s inception. In 2008 Wayne Tomasi, a family friend, began working in the vineyard and continues to do so.
